Personality:

Mithos is a hero and idealist. He's still a kid so Mithos has plenty of dreams and hope for the future. Having that thought of a better future, he will pursue for that dream and goal. The only problem is, there was a discrimination with half-elves thus making his journey harder. Still, Mithos didn't give up even knowing not many would expect a half-elf to do something alone. Mithos had high hopes, that is, until his sister Martel died leaving Mithos with a final wish.

In the beginning you see Yggdrasill [Mithos's adult form] as this powerful and leadership type. Obviously he'll just slap you out of the way. So Mithos really shows no remorse for his actions, his only main objective are his goals. Interfere with his goals, you are basically destroyed. We love you too Yggdrasill.

Keep in mind Mithos is still a kid despite his adult appearance. Mithos still has his ambition to revive Martel, his dear lovely sister. With that though in mind, Mithos will do anything to both revive his sister and grant her that wish. The only problem is, he kinda does it in a twisted way. Mithos believes everyone will have to make a sacrifice to obtain their goal. With that thought in mind, Mithos uses humans the most to obtain his goals even if killing he had to do. To end the discrimination, he would even make everyone lifeless beings believing it would end the hate. Looks like Mithos would like to end things just like that.

His obsession spoke, he went back on his words after making pacts with the summon spirits about reviving the Great Seed. Instead, he separated the worlds thus imprisoning his sister's spirit in the seed as well as ending the war at the same time. Again, he didn't care of the risks here to him he ended the war and have hopes to revive his sister, but mostly to save his sister again.

Mithos mind begins to twist after hearing his sister speak again from Colette. Feeling the betrayal from her words, Mithos then believed she wanted the world destroyed and re-created. In this case, Mithos would destroy the worlds, take the seed, and take Derris-Kharlan away from the world. So he's likes being a tricky lying bastard.

In the end, Mithos believe by forcing the change it would make a better difference. Mithos didn't want to wait for the change to happen, he lost hope to the people believing all will remain the same. Even by Lloyds words, Mithos didn't believe. No matter how many times Mithos would appear as an adult, he is still a child with a lost sister. He even admitted in the final chapter in the game all he wanted was to revive his sister, and if he had started over he wouldn't change a thing. He wanted to stop discrimination, he wanted to return home, but not alone. Both his sister and himself shared that dream. Mithos is a selfish bastard.
